We had an amazing first week of school! We got to know each other by making play-doh representations of ourselves and sharing our creations with the class. We also learned about being kind to others and the importance of thinking before we speak. We found it very easy to squeeze the toothpaste out but very hard to put it all back in the tube using only a toothpick! Like our words, it's sometimes very easy to say hurtful things if we don't think about what we want to say and most times it's hard to take those words back. Then we learned to work as a team while trying to build the tallest free standing structure using raw spaghetti noodles, tape, and yarn. Our free standing structure had to hold a marshmallow on top without falling! What an awesome first week of school!
